When I went online with elenapensini.com in 2015, the main difficulty I had to face was the lack of events pictures. Leaving the former agency, I hadn’t the possibility to use any of the thousands of pics of events done. It felt as I had to hike a mountain being part of a sector where photography is everything. I wondered how I could be appealing to potential clients without giving evidence of my previous work?
I decided to hire a photographer and do lots of pictures of venues for the website and, together with venues I also asked for a number of pictures of me inside each venue.
At least, I’d have shown in a professional photographic way venues and had given evidence of being 100% on the field !
After 9 years I’m here ready to go online with my new website; the challenge this time has been another one and let me say completely different.
It took lots of time to select events to be published and to select best pics for each one.
It can look strange, but I’ve realized just over the last two month the quantity (and the quality) of the work done in the last years.
On this new website you’ll find just very few pictures of me, but INSPIRATIONS section is full of beautiful couples, huge amount of stunning pictures of details and moments of special days here at Lago di Como.
I hope you can find something inspiring your fantasy!
From my side, the aim is clear: to keep focus on personalization and to realize season after season gorgeous bespoke events.
With that said, I also wished to have something new on this new website, that’s the reason behind THE JOURNAL.
I wanted something able to let me feel part of the event sector in a different way, let’s say that I wanted to experience a different way to feel my connection with Lago di Como; as a matter of fact this place is a sort of daily inspiration, isn’t it?
When you live here, you can have plenty of daily reasons to write about beauty, lifestyle, nature.
BEYOND EVENTS should give the idea that beyond me, as a WP, there are my interests, my passions, my curiosity.
Maybe, this will be the beginning of my next Era, when my age will no longer be matching with the energy required to a planner…but I’ve to wait long, before that happens.
Writing can be a nice and relaxing way to share thoughts and experiences with people very far away.
